Currently the Putney Foodshelf supports ten families at Putney Central School with a bag or box of food every Friday year round through its Family Food Bag program.
We are looking for more volunteers to help with the Friday bag creation and delivery. If you have free time Fridays (1–2 hours), a strong back, and the desire to help get food to hungry kids so they can break that poverty cycle and learn, join us in Putney on Friday June 19th at 11 am at the Foodshelf (housed at the Putney Community Center, 10 Christian Square) for a discussion about how you can help.
