The Putney Library book group will meet Sunday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at the library to discuss Richard Powers’ extraordinary book “The Overstory.” Drop-in members who have read the book and can’t wait to discuss it are welcome. A friendly, low-key group of highly intelligent people! Limited gossip. No recipes exchanged.
