The boards of the Putney Historical Society and Next Stage Arts Project wish to thank the many, many community members who recently helped us empty & prepare 15 Kimball Hill in preparation for our major Next Stage Performing Arts Center construction project. We appreciate the strong backs and cheerful smiles of the moving crews; those who lent their skilled hands to clear brush and trees, disassemble and re-assemble pews; and those who generously provided assistance with transportation and storage challenges for pews, artifacts, and new seats, and offered treats for volunteers: We are grateful to: The Putney Central School Middle School kids (all 6th, 7th, & 8th graders!) and their teachers Don Linden, John Curran, Marybeth Berberick, Kathy Ingram & Dan Seiden (coordinated by board members Leah Toffolon & Herve Pelletier;; the Putney Community Supper Committee; Putney School students & their teacher, Camilla Tarmy; Greg Wilson and Basketville; the Town of Putney; the Putney Community Center; Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation; Turner & Renaud Landscaping; Robyn O’Brien & the Putney Co-op; Will O’Brien; Jared Rolston; Nick Keil; Steve Anderson, Willie Taylor, Ken Pick, Mark Trichka, Claude Blazej, Sylvie and Tess Littledale; Lachlan Francis; Steve Carmichael, Howard Fairman, Rob Freeberg, & Tim Weed.
