This year, the Vermont Legislature, in it’s work to support the creation of more housing across the state has included in the Budget year starting July 1, 2025, funding to support staff to assist Vermonters in planning, creating and funding Accessory Dwelling Units in a collaboration with HomeShare Vermont.
Locally, this will mean a staff member from HomeShare Vermont will be located with Windham Windsor Housing Trust in Brattleboro.
Connor Timmons, of HomeShare Vermont will be the guest at the Town of Putney Housing Advisory Committee meeting to share their plans for helping Vermonters plan, create and fund ADU’s and add to the number of housing units across the state.
The meeting will be held at Town Hall and is also available by Zoom. (Link available on Town of Putney website; www.putneyvt.gov
