Putney Public Library’s History Quest: Findings and Photos from the Quest’s Researchers
Tuesday, November 14th at 6:30 p.m.
Did you go on Putney Public Library’s History Quest this summer? Even if you missed it, there’s still a chance to come along on a tour through the history of Putney and its libraries on Tuesday, November 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the present-day library, 55 Main St. in Putney.
Two local middle schoolers created The Quest by researching the history of Putney’s library with help from Putney Town Hall and The Putney Historical Society. The research was a fun way to learn some local history and create a walking tour that guided questers on a short walk through Putney, past the 6 different locations of the town’s library over the past 230 years!
This program is free and open to the public.
