On Thursday October 23, 6pm at the Putney Fire Station, Rep. David Deen and Rep. Mike Mrowicki will meet with voters in the Windham 4 District of Dummerston, Putney and Westminster to discuss the issues of the day in their bid for re-election.

In these times, we have so many issues front and center;
addressing Climate Change , noting the 57% of our carbon footprint in Vermont comes from automobile use
– keeping our economy growing to attract , or keep ,younger people in Vermont
– maintaining quality education at a price we can afford
-providing the necessary services to a population that has the second highest percentage of retirees in the US.
– maintaining our roads and bridges relying on the gas tax with those revenues continuing to fall for the best of reasons- Vermonters are driving less
How do we equitably fund our universal access, single payer Health Care system?

On and on the list can go, and all of it important for your part-time citizen legislature to deal with in it\’s 16 week,January to May legislative session.

The October 23 forum will also start at 6pm and will be held at The Putney Fire Station located on Rt. 5 at the Putney-Dummerston border.
