Well over two-hundred Putney voters requested absentee ballots for the June 30, 2020 Windham Southeast School District Election. Thank you. You have made my life so much easier. Currently only 86 of you have returned your ballots. If you have yet to return your ballot, please do so promptly. We will accept absentee ballots through 7:00 p.m. on election day, June 30. We are also happy to accept ballots that are put through the mail slot in the front door of Putney Town Hall, 127 Main Street, Putney, VT 05346. If you still want to vote absentee, please contact the Putney Town Clerk at 802-387-5862 ext. 13.
In-person voting will take place as a drive-through on June 30, 2020 between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Putney Central School, 182 Westminster Road, Putney, VT 05346. We will have a clear traffic pattern, but ask for some understanding as we have never voted this way before. Voters will pull up to the first tent, be marked on the entrance checklist and be given a ballot. There will be a designated parking area to mark ballots in the safety of the vehicle. We greatly appreciate those who bring their own black or blue pen. Voters will then pull forward, be checked off the exit checklist and deposit the voted ballot.
