The special election asks voters to approve financing for renovations to the Academy School in Brattleboro which will include an addition and updates to student learning environments (grades K-6). The estimated cost of the improvements is $2,000,000. The warning, sample ballot and link for an informational meeting are posted on the school district website, https://sites.google.com/wsesu.org/wsesdboard/home. The Virtual Public Information Meeting on the vote is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 via Zoom.
In-person voting will take place at the Putney Fire Station, 21 Carl Snyder Dr., Putney, VT 05346 on May 11, 2021. between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
