Refresher for Woodworkers: Build a Cutting Board, with Doug Finkel
Interested in becoming a HatchSpace member? This class is designed to prepare experienced woodworkers for evaluation for membership, with in-depth instruction on several essential woodworking processes and safety considerations in the use of HatchSpace’s equipment, including jointer, planer, table saw, band saw, drill press, and router. 3 Thursdays, 1- 4 pm. Oct 28 – Nov 11. $205; Some woodworking experience recommended.

Beginning Lathe Techniques: Bowls and Platters, with Jeff Bower
Try your hand at turning on the lathe in this hands-on introductory class. Includes safety, set-up, design considerations and tool selection
Saturday October 30, 9 am- 1 pm; $80 Tools and materials are provided. No previous lathe experience required

Make A Shaker Bench with Seth Harter
This class serves as the perfect introduction to using handtools to create woodworking’s most versatile joints: dovetails and mortise-and-tenon.
4 sessions, Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 1 pm; Nov 6, 7, 13, 14 $250; No Woodworking Experience Required
